Message
I am Hiroyuki Katoh, appointed Chairman and Professor of Medical Education in April 2026. Drawing on my background as an orthopedic surgeon, I am committed to evidence-based educational reform guided by our philosophy of nurturing physicians with a global perspective. As Chair of International Relations, I work to expand opportunities for cross-border learning through exchange programs and HMEP. In my roles as Vice-Director of Educational Planning and Director of Institutional Research, I focus on curriculum design and making educational quality visible through data.
